Knocked down hollow metal masonry double door frames are constructed from high-quality galvannealed steel sheets formed then punched, prepped, and reinforced for hardware providing a durable and uncompromising frame. Knocked down hollow metal masonry double door frames are ideal for new masonry walls; brick, concrete block (CMU), stone, or poured concrete construction and are also used for new and existing wood or steel stud walls. These hollow metal frames are finished with a factory applied, baked-on rust inhibiting primer providing a smooth finish and paintable surface suitable for commercial, institutional, educational and industrial environments. They can be used in many applications for a dependable, reliable, and long-lasting solution. • Unequal double rabbet frame with 2” head and jamb face and a 5/8” stop height (4” header face and custom designs available upon request)
• Exact fit mitered corner connections with screw reinforcement between head and jamb
• For both interior and exterior applications
• SDI Level 3: Extra heavy duty 16-gauge corrosion resistant A40 galvannealed steel
• Meets or exceeds ANSI 250.6 and ANSI 250.8 standard
• Factory applied 2-part epoxy primer for a superior finish, color gray. After cleaning and grouting or sealing, this frame is ready to be finished with premium latex or oil-based paint
• Fire rated up to 3 hours and certified by WHI / ITS (Warnock Hersey / Intertek Testing Service) with positive pressure and “S” smoke ratings included (meets or exceeds NFPA 80)
• Additional features include 7-gauge heavy duty hinge reinforcements, 9/32” silencer preps, ½” single return
