Knocked down hollow metal drywall frames are constructed from high-quality galvannealed steel sheets formed then punched, prepped, and reinforced for hardware providing a durable and uncompromising door frame. Knocked down hollow metal drywall frames, also known as slip-on drywall frames, are ideal for existing wood or steel stud walls and can also be appropriate for other conditions where wrapping an existing wall opening is desired. These hollow metal frames are finished with a factory applied, baked-on rust inhibiting primer providing a smooth finish and paintable surface suitable for commercial, institutional, educational and industrial environments. They can be used in a wide array of applications for a dependable, reliable, and long-lasting solution. • Fire rated up to 90 minutes and certified by WHI / ITS (Warnock Hersey / Intertek Testing Service).
